Luke 5:1-11 tells of Jesus getting into Peter’s boat. Peter had work all night fishing and had caught nothing. Jesus told him to drop his nets for a catch. This defied all the experience and expertise Peter had as a fisherman. When he did what Jesus said, he found great success. Listening to God can save us a lot of time and trouble.
