Christians should not let fear over their financial situation creep into their lives.  God says He will take care of us.  We should just trust Him even if things do not always make sence to us. 

Abel trusted God but Cain did not.  Genesis 4:3-5 and Hebrews 11:4 are evidence of this.  Cain and Able both brought God an offering.  Over time Cain brought an offering of some of his fruits from the soil.  Abel brought large portions of the first born of his flock.  A key word here is “first”.  Cain gave out of his abundance.  He gave God leftovers.  Able gave to God first and trusted Him for the rest.
